A timeline of progress, passion, and purpose.

2014 The Spark That Became a Mission

The Spark That Became a Mission

Yuva Brigade began its journey in 2014 with the motto "Billion Minds, One Ambition" and with a firm resolve to work towards the vision of Vishwaguru Bharata. The movement took its first step across the state on 25 December, celebrating "Rock Day" to commemorate the day Swami Vivekananda meditated on the Kanyakumari Rock and emerged with a crystal-clear vision of how he would work for the nation's awakening and upliftment. On 12 January, as part of Swami Vivekananda's birth anniversary celebrations, we launched a campaign themed 'The Unending Presence of Vivekananda', reaching more than 2,000 schools and colleges where youth actively spread his inspiring thoughts and ideals.

2018 From Sacred Kalyanis to Living Waters: A Movement was Born

From Sacred Kalyanis to Living Waters: A Movement was Born

Yuva Brigade took up the revival of hundreds of Kalyanis that were on the verge of extinction across the state. This rejuvenation effort breathed new life into many water sources, including the historic Koneri Honda of Gadag. This impactful work earned heartfelt admiration from the public and appreciation from government bodies. Next, the river‑cleaning movement gained momentum. Rivers such as Netravati in Dharmasthala, Bhima in Kalaburagi, Tungabhadra in Mantralaya, and Kapila in Mysuru were taken up for cleaning, and the beautiful tradition of “Kapila Aarti” was introduced in Nanjanagudu—symbolizing purity, gratitude, and collective responsibility.

2018 The Rising Journey of Youth Power

The Rising Journey of Youth Power

Vivekananda Jayanti of 2018 stands as one of the most memorable and inspiring chapters in our journey. As part of the “Sahasra Sahasra Viveka Aavahana” program, organized in collaboration with Mugalkhoda Math, more than 10,000 youth dressed as Swami Vivekananda gathered on a single platform and delivered powerful, synchronized inspirational messages. The event was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi through video conference and was graced by Sri Sri Ravi Shankar Guruji of the Art of Living. With an audience of over 50,000 people, the program set several remarkable world records and left an unforgettable imprint of unity and national pride.

As part of the 125th anniversary of Swami Vivekananda’s historic Chicago Address, the inspiring Digvijaya Rath Yatra was launched. A massive marathon served as the prelude to this 60‑day journey from Bengaluru to Bidar, energizing thousands of youth along the way. During this period, the song “I am the charioteer of Vivekananda’s ratha, Marching forward for the awakening of the Nation “ became a powerful anthem that resonated deeply with young hearts.

2018 Celebrating Unity, Service, and Shared Values

Celebrating Unity, Service, and Shared Values

To foster harmony and collective spirit, the martyrdom day of Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, and Sukhdev was observed through powerful statewide bonfire processions under the banner “Bhagat for Unity,” rekindling the ideals of courage and togetherness. Through the Anubhava Sindhu initiative, the 200th birth anniversary of Saint Shishunala Sharif and the birth anniversary of Puttaraja Gavai were celebrated with reverence, honoring their enduring message of social harmony. The spirit of service was further strengthened through Sewa Kumbh, which brought together numerous service‑oriented organizations on a single platform, upholding the values of Service and Sacrifice. Additionally, on December 22, “Amma Namana” (Bowing to Mother) was held in honor of Sri Sharada Devi’s birth anniversary, during which the mothers of nurses and soldiers who selflessly served during the COVID period were respectfully honored through Paada Pooja, acknowledging their silent strength and sacrifices.

2018 Swatantrya Shravana : A Celebrated Chapter in Our Journey

Swatantrya Shravana : A Celebrated Chapter in Our Journey

Since 2015, our team has upheld a unique tradition of celebrating Independence Day as Swatantrya Shravana, a two‑day collective experience that blends patriotism, culture, and togetherness. This journey began in Hubballi where August 14 is marked by diverse programs and interactions, and August 15 is celebrated with flag hoisting, a patriotic procession, and a community meal reflecting the local flavor. Volunteers from across the state gather at a chosen location each year, making it a vibrant confluence of people, ideas, and cultures. Over time, Swatantrya Shravana has become a powerful source of inspiration and energy for our team, offering deep exposure to the traditions of different regions. This celebration has since been held in Honnavara, Hampi, Mysuru, Kalburgi, Bengaluru, Belagavi, and Shivamogga, continuing to strengthen unity through shared celebration of freedom
